The Call for Papers is Now Open!
We’re thrilled to announce that the Call for Papers (CFP) for BSides Kristiansand 2025 is officially open. This is your chance to be part of an engaging and inclusive InfoSec conferences, taking place on 6 June 2025.
We are inviting cybersecurity professionals, researchers, students and newcomers alike to share their insights, solutions, and fresh perspectives.
What We’re Looking For:
This year, we are particularly interested in talks that delve into key areas such as offensive security (red teaming), defensive strategies (blue teaming), and digital forensics and incident response (DFIR). Our goal is to build a program that not only educates but also inspires and equips attendees with practical tools and knowledge.
Red Team Topics:
If you’re breaking boundaries in offensive security—whether it’s penetration testing techniques, adversary simulation tactics, or tools for exploring vulnerabilities—we want to hear from you. Show us what’s working, what’s new, and what’s coming next.
Blue Team and DFIR Topics:
Share how you defend against the ever-evolving threat landscape. From detection techniques to case studies on incidents, we’re looking for insights and strategies. Digital forensics practitioners, incident responders, and threat hunters are all encouraged to bring their real-world experiences to the stage.
Beyond Red and Blue:
We also welcome submissions on governance, risk, compliance, security education, and other critical areas that help build a well-rounded understanding of modern cybersecurity challenges.
Two Tracks to Choose From:
This year, BSides Kristiansand will feature two speaker tracks:
Main Track:
The Main Track will host presentations that explore the technical and strategic aspects of cybersecurity. This is the space for presenters to showcase their expertise, discuss their research, or share case studies. Depending on the number of submissions, we may hold these talks across two venues to give attendees more flexibility and access.
30-minute sessions, perfect for deep dives into topics and detailed discussions.
Rookie Track:
For those who are new to public speaking or just stepping into the cybersecurity spotlight, the Rookie Track offers a welcoming platform. We encourage first-time speakers and fresh voices to present their ideas in a supportive environment.
