Notification of Call for Papers Opening in January!
Are you ready to share your knowledge and insights with the cybersecurity community? BSides Kristiansand is excited to announce that our Call for Papers (CFP) will officially open on 20 January 2024! Whether you’re a seasoned speaker or stepping onto the stage for the first time, we invite you to contribute to our inaugural event.
This year, we’re featuring three tracks:
Cybersecurity Track
The Cybersecurity Track covers a broad range of topics across the field. This is where innovation meets exploration. Whether you’re tackling cutting-edge research, sharing insights into threat intelligence, addressing security challenges in emerging technologies, or presenting practical solutions for securing digital systems, the Cybersecurity Track has a place for your voice. Inspire, educate, and engage the community with your expertise.
DFIR Track
The DFIR Track delves into the critical domain of digital forensics and incident response. This track is perfect for professionals and researchers with expertise in investigating cyber incidents, uncovering forensic evidence, or responding to complex security breaches. Topics might include case studies, tools and techniques, incident response strategies, or insights into emerging threats in the field of DFIR. If you have experience or groundbreaking research to share, this is the stage for you.
Rookie Track:
The Rookie Track is tailored for first-time speakers or those looking to gain confidence on stage. This is your chance to share your unique perspective in a supportive and welcoming environment. Present on topics that spark your passion, whether it’s an exciting project you’ve worked on, lessons you’ve learned, or a fresh approach to tackling security challenges. Mentorship opportunities may also be available to help you prepare for your talk.
Submissions are open to everyone, regardless of experience. If you have an idea, a story, or a discovery that could benefit the community, we want to hear from you!
