About the Speaker
Shaun Reardon
Shaun is a Principal Cyber Security Consultant at DNV AS, based in Trondheim, Norway. He has worked in over 40 countries, both onshore and offshore, delivering cybersecurity and Digital Forensic Incident Response (DFIR) services to clients globally. Shaun holds numerous certifications, including CISSP (management), GICSP (industrial), CCSK (cloud), CSTP (penetration testing), ISO27001 audit, and CBCI (business continuity). His academic background includes studying forensic computing under Professor Tony Sammes at the Royal Military School of Science, Cranfield University, UK.
Prior to his commercial career, Shaun served as a Detective Police Officer at Scotland Yard for over 26 years. During this time, he specialized in digital forensics, cyber investigations, and financial intelligence. He was involved in several high-profile cases, including serving as the lead digital forensic investigator in the 2006 terrorist plot to blow up seven transatlantic airliners. Shaun has also delivered specialist training to agencies worldwide and is a regular columnist for The Times in the UK.
