BSides Kristiansand is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
All participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally.
Anyone who causes harassment, intimidation, or distress to others will be asked to leave the event.

👥 Who This Applies To

This Code applies to attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, vendors, venue staff, and organizers.

🎯 Purpose

The purpose of this event is to learn, collaborate, and build connections.
We are committed to inclusion regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age,
sexuality, religion, disability, socioeconomic background, or experience level.

✅ Acceptable Behavior

Participants must be courteous, respectful, and professional.
Respect personal boundaries. A clear “no” must always be respected.

❌ Unacceptable Behavior

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, stalking, unwanted advances,
offensive imagery, repeated disruption of talks, or irresponsible alcohol
consumption will not be tolerated.

🍷 Substance Policy

Alcohol must be consumed responsibly and in accordance with Norwegian law.
Illicit drug use and supplying alcohol to underage individuals is prohibited.

📷 Photography & Recording

Always obtain consent before photographing or recording others.
If someone requests deletion of an image, comply immediately.

🛡 Reporting Concerns

If you witness or experience misconduct:

• Speak to event staff.
• Email info@bsideskrs.no.
• Submit an anonymous report via the feedback form.

⚖ Our Response

All reports are handled confidentially and investigated promptly.
Actions may include warnings, removal from the event, or referral to authorities.
